@blackburn9 The solution wont be an easy, quick one like they want to hear. Their generation might be lost, but the next wont have to be. They have to drop the whole stank additude and never call black men deadbeats in front of their sons (or daugthers) again. Its clearly discouraging them, so instead praise and encourage them to succeed like they do with their girls. Stop blaming black men and start blaming yourself for spreading your legs, cuz it takes two to tango.

@blackburn9 Not to mention that these so called flaws from black men can be attributed to a small part of the community, but like they said: Its not that men are forcing them to spread their legs.
The problem is very simple: After years of having to put up with the “strong black woman that doesnt need a deadbeat” slogan they’ve pretty much pissed off the good black men, cuz all they’re doing is being a loudmouth who refuses to take on critisism.

@blackman6270 What gets me is the central question, “Why can’t unmarried black women find a good man?” And the female panel seems to deflect the question into the same various faults and flaws of black men.

@blackman6270 Like white men, there is a diversity of black men. American media typically focuses on Rappers, Athletes, and TV shows and movies where black men are often brooding, angry and inclined towards an sub-literate urban persona. Its rare you hear about the doctors, lawyers, chemists, physicists, biologist, anthropologists, mathematicians, and intellectual scholars. When they are mentioned its usually in regards to something culturally demeaning (see Urkel)

@blackburn9 And the funny thing is that stats show that black American men arent the bums they’re thought to be. 22% of the black American men marries interracial. If they were deadbeats like they hear all the time, why would women of other races want em?
The current generation of black boys gets the blame for what the previous generations did. Who can says its justified to have a stank-additude and put a young black man down for something his father did.

Black men listen to black women constantly tell him how worthless he is, how isn’t this or that. Black women are masters at putting men in their relationships down. Sherrie is so self-centered she thinks the subject of the topic is personally about her experiences, her observations, and her feelings. Black men communicate well enough, but if all you’re prepared to do is dismiss what he has to say if the subject isn’t validating you, small wonder he becomes silent and stoic.
